Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County — Stakeholders from across Grand Cape Mount have gathered in Robertsport for a major conference aimed at addressing development challenges and promoting a more inclusive and sustainable future for the county.

The one-day event, held under the theme “Uniting Capemountians for Inclusive Development and Sustainable Future,” will bring together community leaders, youth representatives, civil society actors, and local authorities to deliberate on key socio-economic issues affecting the county.

According to the conference program, discussions will focused on critical areas including concession agreements, social impacts, and the role of citizens in shaping development outcomes.

A youth empowerment speaker Mr. Abraham Massaley and former President of the Press Union of Liberia (PUL) will also addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of engaging young people in governance and development processes.

According to the program organizers, youth inclusion remains central to achieving long-term sustainability in the county.Throughout the day, participants will examined the economic, political, and social dimensions of development.

The conference is expected to conclude with the adoption of key resolutions and recommendations intended to guide future engagement between communities, government, and concession companies operating in the area.
